It is with great pleasure that we present Volume 3, Issue 1 (January–June 2026) of the Isabela State University Linker: Journal of Engineering, Computing and Technology. This issue continues our commitment to disseminating high-quality, peer-reviewed research that advances engineering, computing, and technology through innovative, interdisciplinary, and socially relevant scholarship. The contributions featured in this volume demonstrate how technological innovation and engineering solutions can address real-world challenges across education, agriculture, transportation, business, and digital governance.
The articles in this issue reflect the growing role of data-driven decision-making, intelligent systems, and digital transformation in improving institutional effectiveness and community development. The study on transportation accessibility in rural Bangladesh highlights the importance of integrated infrastructure planning in promoting educational equity, while the evaluation of the Philippine Rice Information System (PRiSM) demonstrates how information systems and geospatial technologies support evidence-based agricultural planning and policymaking. Advancements in computing and information technology are likewise evident in several contributions. The development of an automated image and data processing system for client feedback analysis showcases the application of intelligent data processing in enhancing institutional services. Similarly, the conceptual framework for a web-based tournament management system, the TrackPOS-IN digital platform for small businesses, and the BLOCKIT parental control system illustrate how software engineering, information systems, and algorithmic approaches continue to provide practical solutions that improve organizational efficiency, user experience, and digital safety.
Engineering innovation is further represented through the optimization of a solar-powered automatic aquaculture feeder, which integrates renewable energy with precision engineering to enhance aquaculture productivity while supporting sustainable food production. This work exemplifies the journal's commitment to promoting engineering research that contributes to environmental sustainability and technological advancement. Collectively, the papers in this issue embody the journal's interdisciplinary vision by integrating engineering principles, computational methods, intelligent information systems, optimization techniques, and applied technologies to solve complex societal and industrial problems. Beyond their technical contributions, these studies emphasize innovation that is practical, scalable, and responsive to the evolving needs of communities and institutions.
